Teachers' Seminar on Moral Values and Professional Ethics
Our Teachers actively participated in the seminar on "The Importance of Morality: Challenges and Crisis of Teachers", held on 18 July at Navajyothi Pastoral Centre, Palakkad. The programme was organized by the Diocesan Catechetical Centre, Palakkad, with Fr. Jaimes Chakkiath, Director of the Diocesan Catechetical Centre, leading the session.
The seminar highlighted the indispensable role of teachers in shaping young minds, nurturing values, and transforming lives. It addressed the moral challenges faced by educators in today's rapidly changing society, including increasing professional pressure, materialism, value conflicts, and the need to uphold integrity in the teaching profession.
The insightful sessions inspired the participants to reaffirm their commitment to ethical teaching, compassionate leadership, and value-based education. The programme served as a meaningful reminder that teachers are not only educators but also role models who influence the character and future of the younger generation.
The seminar concluded with a renewed sense of responsibility among the participants to uphold moral values and continue their mission of educating with dedication, wisdom, and integrity.
