Onam Celebration :
A Festive Fusion of Culture and Joy Onam, the grand harvest festival of Kerala, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy at St.Thomas , this year. The entire school came together to honor the spirit of unity, cultural
heritage, and the legendary homecoming of King Mahabali, whose reign is remembered as a time of prosperity, peace, and equality.
The day began with the creation of a vibrant Pookalam (floral carpet) by our teachers. Each class contributed to this stunning piece of art, adding a splash of color and creativity to the occasion.
The highlight of the event was the cultural program that showcased a blend of traditional and modern performances. The Teachers donned traditional attire,(settu mundu) embracing the essence of Kerala’s culture. The performances included graceful Thiruvathira dance by teachers too.
In keeping with the spirit of Onam, Payasam was served by the PTA.
It was a delightful experience for both students and staff, fostering a sense of togetherness and
sharing.
