International Day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking

This year the event is observed on the central theme of "Health for Justice,Justice for health"this global observance aims to raise awareness of the major problem that illicit drugs represent to society.Their basic principle is protecting the youth and promoting welfare of humankind.

The day was observed with much enthusiasm by having special assembly for the higher secondary comprising awareness talk and oath taking,promising to say no to drugs by the students.This was followed by a special session by the excise department personnel Mr.Satish (C.I -Palakkad) to create awareness about the dreadful effects of drugs.The programme helped the teenagers stay aware of the fatal consequences of consuming drugs.
