The future of our nation lies in the hands of young minds.Our former primeminister Sri Jawaharlal Nehru fondly called chachaji is often cited as saying that children should always be carefully and lovingly nurtured.To commemorate the birthday of Nehru,we celebrate Childrens' day on Nov 14th.St Thomas too celebrated the same with much  love and vigour.The celebrations was inaugurated by Sri Thomas George,director,Lead College,Dhoni.Sri Santhosh kumar,President, PTA presided the function winners of various competitions conducted in the school level were awarded.Smt Kavitha Sasidharan,Secretary,MTA,Mrs Suramya,Teacher representative felicitated the winners.The young talents showcased various cultural with much enthusiasm.This day gives everyone an opportunity to rekindle the child in them and thus cherish their nostalgic memories.
